To foster innovation in the humanities and social sciences and cultivate the next generation of academic talent, the Hong Kong Academy of Humanities and Social Sciences is pleased to announce the Young Researcher Program. This program aims to provide young scholars with a professional research platform, offering academic support and resources to encourage in-depth research in the humanities and social sciences. We invite applications from scholars with innovative thinking and academic potential, ready to contribute to academic advancement and social development.

Program Overview:

The Young Researcher Program at the Hong Kong Academy of Humanities and Social Sciences seeks to create a conducive academic environment for young scholars, encouraging interdisciplinary collaboration and academic exchange. Researchers will have the opportunity to publish their work for free in the academy’s journal, Explorations in Humanities and Sciences, and participate in various domestic and international academic exchange programs, enhancing their academic influence and broadening their horizons.

We Offer:

1.Researcher Certificate: Upon completion of the program, participants will receive a researcher certificate from the Hong Kong Academy of Humanities and Social Sciences, officially recognizing their research experience.

2.Publication Opportunities: Researchers can publish their academic work for free in the academy’s journal, Explorations in Humanities and Sciences, helping them gain recognition and influence within the academic community.

3.Interdisciplinary Exchange and International Collaboration: Researchers will have opportunities to attend international academic conferences, seminars, and lectures, engaging in dialogue with experts from diverse academic fields and expanding their global perspective.

Eligibility Requirements:

1.Applicants must hold a Master’s degree or higher, in fields related to humanities or social sciences.

2.Undergraduate students who have already published academic papers in the humanities or social sciences are also eligible to apply.

3.Applicants must demonstrate strong research capabilities and an interest in interdisciplinary collaboration and academic innovation.
